KORG X50 61-KEY SYNTHESIZER WITH HI ARCHITEXTURE, 512 PROGRAMS AND DUAL ARPEGGIATORS
The Korg X50 is a compact, lightweight velocity sensitive, synth action 61-key synthesizer powered by the same HI synthesis engine used in the Korg Triton series. The X50 comes with 64MB of samples and waveforms, many from the Triton series, as well as 512 programs and 384 combinations with powerful splits and layers. An octave shift function extends the range of the 61-notes to a full range from bass to treble. Even though the X50 has 61 keys, it is able to play 62 notes at the same time in multi-timbral mode. Also included in the X50 are dual polyphonic arpeggiators. The effect section of the X50 lets you simultaneously use four effects (one insert effect, two master effects, and one EQ), from a full selection of effect types such as reverb, chorus, and delay.
USB connectivity allows transmitting MIDI data to a computer. The X50 is compatible with Korg's TR line of music workstations so you can share sounds and songs with Korg users around the world. The X50 also comes with editor/librarian software that makes it easy to create and organize sounds using a computer. Two versions are shipped: a traditional stand-alone application and a plug-in version which supports VST, AU, and RTAS formats that can run within your DAW and MIDI sequencing software.
